Length of Study: Four and a half years. The first three year at Changshu Institute of Technology and the final one and a half year at University of Applied Sciences, Mittweida. Students must pass the German language test in order to progress.

Degrees achieved: Students who meet the graduation requirements of dual parties will be conferred with bachelor degree and bachelor certificate from Changshu Institute of Technology and diploma from University of Applied Sciences, Mittweida as well.

Tuition Fees: RMB 24200/Year (For the first three years at CIT)

Euro 10000/Year (For the final year and a half at Mittweida)

Main Courses: Circuit, Analog Electronic Technology, Digital Electronic Technology, Motor and Drag, Microcomputer Principle and Interface Technology, Automatic Control Principle, Power Electronic Technology

Achievements: Started enrollment since 2013, this program has progressed over 170 students to Germany. Among the 78 graduates from the German side, 65 were enrolled by master programs of famed German universities, among which, 5 are now studying in the Technical University of Munich, 4 in the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, 1 in the Technical University of Berlin, 1 in the University of Queensland in Australia, 3 in the University of Stuttgart and 17 in the University of University of Erlangen-Nuremberg.

 

University of Applied Sciences, Mittweida, Germany

University of Applied Sciences, Mittweida is a public German university recognized by the Ministry of Education in China. It is located in the central part of Saxony, Germany, near Dresden, Leipzig and Chemnitz. Founded in 1867, it has a history of more than 150 years. Originated from a education center for German engineers, it is now a modern university known for its engineering subjects.

Subjects like the Media, Computer Applications, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics are among the best in Germany. Its Department of Electronic Information Engineering, which CIT collaborate with, boasts 21 professors, 20 scientific research staffs and lab engineers. With many research groups established within the department, it provides the students and faculties the most advanced facilities. The research focuses include robotic manufacturing technology, coupling in automation technology, and wireless high-intelligence sensor network systems. The university has established friendly partnerships with many mega corporations. For example, on the graduation season, companies like Siemens will come to interview graduates on campus.

It has now six Schools, including the School of Information Technology and Electronic Technology, the School of Mechanical Manufacturing and Precision Instrument Manufacturing, the School of Mathematics, Physics and Information, the School of Business, the School of Social Sciences, and the School of Media, covering 22 majors and 13 vocational training majors. Currently, there are 6000 students on campus.

Over 150 years of its history, it has breed over 80,000 engineers, some of which are founders of world’s famous corporations, senior managers or excellent scientific workers. Among them are Mr. Friedrich Opel, the founder of the world-famous brand Opel, Gerhard Nueman, the rocket propeller inventor of the famous American company Gernal Eletric, who has made outstanding contributions to the human aerospace industry, August Horch, the founder of Audi, and other outstanding figures.
