Established in 2011, the School of Marxism mainly undertakes the task of teaching full-time undergraduates and postgraduates at CIT ideology and politics and engages in research and popularization of Marxist theories.

We cherish 8 teaching and research centers -- Ideological & Moral Cultivation and Basic Law Education, Mao Tse-tung Thought & Introduction to the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, Outline of Chinese Modern History, Basic Principle of Marxism, Situation & Policy, National Defense Education, Practical Teaching of Ideological & Political Courses, and Party History & Party Construction.

Of our 33 faculty members, 3 are professors, 21 associate professors, 6 lecturers, 10 with a master degree, 19 with a doctorate degree, 1 doctoral supervisor, and 4 master supervisors. Besides, there are 40 part-time teachers of ideological and political theory courses and 30 part-time teachers from enterprises.
