On behalf of our faculty, staff, and students, I'd like to send warmest greetings to all our friends and guests.
Changshu Institute of Technology (CIT) is a provincial institution with a total enrollment of over 20,000 undergraduates. Established in Changshu, both an ancient city with a cultural heritage lasting 5,000 years, and a booming town full of dynamism in socio-economic development in the Yangtze River Delta region, CIT offers a perfect environment for students in academic pursuit, hands-on learning, and getting prepared for the job market.
The 14 schools we run on two campuses on 300 acres of land are a fertile ground for a healthy growth and integrated development of an array of disciplines such as Philosophy, Literature, Fine Arts, Education, Science, Economics, Engineering, and Management, ect.
Faculty members with CIT have most carefully sifted and winnowed to find truth in this mission: nurturing future engineers, technocrats, entrepreneurs, managers, artists, designers, planners, and teachers with a holistic instruction, pragmatic development, and global perspective.
While with CIT, students are part of an explorary journey into the discovery of truth, together with high-caliber professors, dedicated staff members, and equally aspiring peers. CIT is actually the epitome of ideal transformable into reality, for it pulsates with both academic acuity in the classroom and projects for internship, research opportunity and work experience that lay the foundation to launch future. International learning through exchange programs we have fashioned, jointly with our overseas sister universities, also feature prominently in our configuration of orientation. Learning stays of our students in America, Britain, Germany, Korea, Japan, etc., give an unmistakable boost to their resumes.
I sincerely invite all the friends and guests to CIT which we call home, proudly. And you are always welcome to visit us online. Great things, I believe, will be in the making and in store for both of us.
President Prof. Jiang Jianming
