On the afternoon of November 11, the Opening Ceremony of the 2020 Sino-American Universities Open Day and Chinese Foreign Universities Credit Mutual Recognition Joint Education Program was held in the Qizhi Hall of Shenxing Building. The attendees include Jiang Zuojun, the president of our university, the relevant leaders of the China Education International Education Exchange Center (CCIEE), the visiting professor and health instructor of the Sino-American Education School, and the leaders of related Administration such as the International Cooperation and Exchange Office, the Student Affairs Office, and the Human Resources Office, the Deans and the 2020 class teachers, all freshmen and their parents representatives of the Business School, School of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Electrical and Automation Engineering, School of Bio-Food Engineering, School of Materials Engineering, and 121 project alumni. President Jiang Zuojun pointed out in his speech that the joint education program of is an important practice base for the "Sino-American Talent Training Program" in Jiangsu. With the support of the China Education International Education Exchange Center, the Association of State Universities and Colleges, and the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, our University and the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, the University of Wisconsin Stout, the University of Southern Illinois at Edwardsville, and the University of Minnesota at Duluth and other American state universities have carried out strategic cooperation and first created 1.5+2+0.5 "China-US Talent Training Program" international curriculum experimental class. In 2018, Sino-American Education School was established to promote the sharing of resources between China and the United States in terms of language enhancement, teaching in China, teaching seminars, and co-construction of courses. It also created a new talent training model. At present, nearly 200 students have gone to study in the United States, and a large number of outstanding graduates have emerged.
